Match report
Vitinha and Marquinhos scored in stoppage time, allowing Paris Saint-Germain to overturn a 2-0 deficit and draw 2-2 against Lille.
It looked as though Lille were about to secure the win in Ancelotti’s first home game in Ligue 1, thanks to a magnificent curling shot from Dilane Bakwa in the 84th minute.
Bakwa’s goal had made it 2-0 to Lille—who had put in an excellent performance at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy—but the reigning European champions managed to stage a spectacular comeback.
Achraf Hakimi had hit the post for PSG, and Olivier Giroud had already gone close to opening the scoring before playing a key role in the move that put Lille 1-0 up in the 21st minute.
Giroud held the ball up masterfully and laid it off to Hakon Haraldsson, who fired into the top-right corner with a spectacular finish.
PSG managed only one shot on target in the first half, and Lille seemed to have the victory in the bag when substitute Bakwa brilliantly extended their lead.
However, in the 91st minute, Vitinha rifled the ball into the top-left corner with surgical precision and—just as they had against Rennes the previous week—PSG managed to equalize.
Vitinha then turned from scorer to provider, whipping a precise cross into the danger zone, where Marquinhos headed the ball into the net.
